Job Description
Rate of Pay: $16.85/hour USD
Prepare and service beverages for servers and guests in a timely, efficient, friendly, and professional manner. See guests from start to finish through a five-star dining experience including all knowledge and service of food, wine and spirits.
Job responsibilities include; although are not limited to:
* Is well groomed and is following our dress code/ uniform policy when at work
* Ensure all mise en place are setup and ready for service according to the Lobby Lounge
SOP.
* Assist service colleagues in completing pre-shift mise en place including complete bar
setup
* Assist guests in receiving a flawless dining experience
* To prepare and expedite cocktails and spirits selections to the guests and wait staff
* Assist service colleagues in breakdown and cleanup of service areas
* Check customer identifications to confirm legal drinking age.
* Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a high level of execution. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
* Have an exemplary knowledge of spirits and wine as well as food and wine pairing.
* Food Handlers Card required.
*Registered with ABC and have RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certificate.
* Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
* Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
* Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Must possess basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator.
* Must possess basic computer skills.
* Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.
* Knowledge of Restaurant operations, its services, and facilities.
* Experience in a bar or high-volume restaurant/bar environment is considered a strong asset
* High school or equivalent education required.
