Location: Claremont and Pomona Offices
Working Hours: Full-Time (Exempt); Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend availability as needed.

Position Overview: Parents Anonymous® Inc. is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and resourceful HR professional to lead and enhance our human resources function. As the HR Director, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership team to develop and implement comprehensive HR and talent strategies that align with the organization’s goals. You will oversee all aspects of human resource management, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee development and compliance. This role is essential in ensuring that our personnel files are maintained accurately in the HR Cloud, while also driving initiatives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. You will provide leadership in addressing complex employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with employment laws at both the federal and state levels. In this key role, you will also design and manage critical HR programs, policies, and staff training initiatives, ensuring our organization attracts, retains, and nurtures top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in shared leadership® with Executive Leadership to develop and manage plans for human resource and talent strategy to meet organization’s obligations and goals.
  • Create uniform job ads and descriptions.
  • Manage HR Cloud to ensure all documents are uploaded into these Personnel Files for each Employee.
  • Create and implement Onboarding for all New Employees.
  • Engage in shared leadership® with Executive Leadership Team to design, implement and oversee all Staff Trainings (Non Programmatic).
  • Review and maintain Employment Handbook provisions to guide all Management Staff.
  • Support the Executive Team when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise including providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, sexual harassment, progressive discipline and terminations.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, screening, interviewing, testing and hiring of qualified job applicants in shared leadership® with Vice Presidents collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base pay to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Coordinates Diversity, Equity, Inclusion an Belonging Policies, Practices and Trainings.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and California and Federal employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of human resource management experience preferred
  • Experience in a non-profit organization a plus.
  • SHRM or PHR Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
