Adjunct Faculty teach day and/or evening courses in lecture and/or laboratory classroom settings. The expectation is to prepare and deliver course instruction, follow common course outlines and instruction policies, grade, critique and evaluate student work, provide timely and periodic feedback to students, keep and submit accurate classroom records and attend required training sessions, professional development and departmental meetings.
Adjunct Level 1 - $1,050 per credit hour.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Physics, or a related field of study. Upcoming courses are inclusive of freshman and sophomore level electrical, mechanical, and general engineering material, including, but not limited to: engineering design, statics, dynamics, mechanical systems troubleshooting, and fundamentals of electronics, digital electronics, communications systems, and engineering mathematics. Prior teaching experience or graduate level training preferred.
