The Dental Assistant position provides support to the UNC Adams School of Dentistry pre doctoral clinical programs, including patient care and clinical education programs. This position participates in the training and supervision of learners in their clinical experiences, as well as a broad range of daily duties, including monitoring/implementing clinic policies and procedures, chairside assisting to faculty and learners, interacting with patients, preparing clinics for patient care, sterilization, entering vitals and chart notes, exposing and processing radiographs, managing inventory, supplies, and equipment, and performing administrative support tasks and associated functions, when necessary.
