The Senior National Account Manager, Mass Market is responsible for spearheading revenue growth by fostering collaborative relationships with distributors and existing accounts, ensuring the placement of our range of books. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, involving constant research to remain knowledgeable of emerging trends and the innovation to develop custom made books. The ideal candidate for this position should boast significant expertise in the Mass Market domain, encompassing interactions with retail buyers, engaging with our distributor's product team, and demonstrating adept stock management skills to guarantee the continuous availability of plan-o-gram titles.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Track record in meeting/exceeding sales targets and operating within defined expense budgets.
  • Proven history in growing existing book of business.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Prepare and present new customer sales presentations.
  • Understand operational functions and capabilities.
  • Developing and implementing account-specific strategies to achieve sales and revenue goals. This may involve working closely with cross-functional teams within the organization.
  • Visit and evaluate stores as needed.
  • Providing regular reports on account performance, revenue, and other relevant metrics.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of sales experience in mass market business development with specialty retail customers is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
  • Proven sales results, strong negotiation skills and entrepreneurial spirit are preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; rapport and relationship building in person, phone, email, presentations, etc.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: able to provide innovative and effective client solutions
  • High level of business acumen.
  • Confidence in interacting with customers at all levels.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and tenacious nature.
  • Well-presented and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
  • Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and improve existing processes.

Salary: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00
