JHU Whiting School of Engineering is seeking a Laboratory Technician to assist with ordering, inventory management, building of electrodes and implantable device prototypes in the Cybernetic Implantable Devices Lab.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintaining inventory.
• Resupplying inventory when stocks run low.
• Performing routine lab maintenance and operations.

Special Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to communicate and collaborate using a variety of meeting tools (i.e., Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, Excel).

• High School Diploma or graduation equivalent with some science coursework.
• Experience in basic laboratory procedures required.

• Bachelors Degree in Science.
  

• Certificate from technical institute or internship experience preferred.
• Training Certificate from Technical Institute preferred.

Starting Salary Range: $15.40 - $23.25 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)
