The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to become an integral part of our vibrant legal team. In this role, you will be at the heart of the action, providing essential support to our attorneys through every phase of litigation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to dive into a diverse range of cases, sharpen your legal acumen, and make a real impact in the legal field.

This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work remotely 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Dive Deep into Investigations: Engage with a variety of external sources to retrieve, review, and analyze critical information, driving the success of our cases.
  • Master of Organization: Curate and meticulously prepare vital materials for expert witness review, ensuring every detail is in place for impactful testimony.
  • Harness the Power of Technology: Utilize cutting-edge court-related databases and other online platforms to unearth essential case details that give us the competitive edge.
  • Be the Strategic Analyzer: Dissect and organize document production from opposing parties and co-defendants, turning complex information into actionable insights.
  • Transform Data into Strategy: Summarize key transcripts and organize pivotal documents, playing a crucial role in building our case strategies.
  • Support the Experts: Prepare and streamline materials for expert witnesses, ensuring they have everything needed to deliver persuasive and compelling opinions.
  • Guide the Case Files: Take charge of managing and maintaining impeccably organized case files, ensuring that every document is at your fingertips when needed. Manage documents and maintain organized case files.

Qualifications

  • Educational Foundation: A bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is highly valued and will set you up for success in this role.
  • Seasoned Professional: Bring your 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience to the table, where your expertise will shine.
  • Insurance Defense Advantage: If you have experience in insurance defense, that is a big plus - your background could be a game-changer for our team.
  • Communication Pro: Showcase your exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate and convey key insights.
  • Team Player in Action: Thrive in our fast-paced, collaborative environment, where teamwork and agility are key.
  • Hands-On Experience: Leverage your experience with drafting subpoenas and meticulously creating logs for records received - skills that are essential to our success.

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. This position is also eligible for bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
