Essential Job Duties
The individual will be a member of Ninomiya-Tsuji research team. Major duties are:
- Conducting a series of research experiments to determine the effect of TAK1 inhibition in Alzheimer’s model mice.
- Maintaining mouse colonies by performing husbandry, weaning, and genotyping.
- Recording, analyzing and reporting research processes and results.
- Participating in lab meetings by presenting your results and contributing to research discussions.
- Manages and maintains data in accordance with the data management plan
- Maintains study protocol and records including Standard Operating Procedure manual
- Perform related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested
This position is time-limited.
Other Responsibilities
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience/Education
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Other Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of biomedical studies
- Skill of mouse handing and colony maintenance
- Knowledge and skill of basic molecular biology experiments
Preferred Qualifications
- Education and experience in mouse study at research lab settings.
