Physics Work-Study Assistant

Job Description

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Prepare and organize laboratory materials and equipment.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and entry.
  • Provide support for faculty lab and design projects.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe lab environment.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed.
It requires students to be responsible enough to show up on time for meetings with the professor to review work for each week. Students must be able to maintain confidentiality. They must be organized, punctual, responsible, and mature. Ideal for students pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum qualifications include: 
- Current enrollment in an engineering or related program.
-  Basic knowledge of physics concepts and lab procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
-  Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Some experience with Word, Excel, and Matlab.
Student may work a maximum of 8 hours/week.
