Job Description
  • Display a congenial appearance and is well groomed at all times.
  • Ensure all mise en place are setup and ready for service.
  • Assist service colleagues in completing pre-shift mise en place including complete bar setup, juices and garnishes prepped, wines by the glass fully stocked, ice stocked for night's service and additional side duties as outlined in the pre-shift duties list.
  • The Barback is responsible for preparing fresh juices for each bar, cutting garnishes, creating large format cocktails, and bar setup.
  • Responsible for placing produce orders with the manager.
  • Assist service colleagues in breakdown and cleanup of service areas; i.e. all ice burned and all glasses polished, by the glass selections replaced and stored, liquor locked and stored, all bar items placed in storage areas, service trays cleaned and stored, bar area neat and tidy for next day's service.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
  • Responsiblefor running food orders as needed
  • Assist servers on floor to bus and clear tables

Qualifications
  • Food Handlers Card required.
  • High School graduate
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must possess basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.
  • Knowledge of Restaurant operations, its services, and facilities.
  • Must have superior guest service abilities as well as a complete understanding of California serving guidelines.

Additional Information

Hourly Rate Range: $22.00 USD Gross per hour

Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
