Job Description
PROGRAM COORDINATOR, MICROMASTERS PROGRAM IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DECISION MAKING (AI+DM), Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), to perform and manage complex and diverse duties in support of the large-scale global, online MicroMasters Program in AI+DM. Will work closely with the digital learning lab fellow to coordinate multiple projects and work streams; and assist with program administration, delivery of courses, project development and management, community management, and event support. Responsibilities will include coordinating and performing day-to-day operational activities for the program; identifying, writing, proofreading, and editing copy for the website, email campaigns, and social media channels in conjunction with Open Learning marketing team; and assisting with the planning and coordination of program events such as promotional webinars and live learning sessions.

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least two years of administrative and/or project/program management experience; excellent organizational, administrative, problem solving, and communication skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize work appropriately, follow through on tasks, and meet multiple tight deadlines; attention to detail; flexibility and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing platform/environment; and ability to build strong working relationships with teammates, faculty, and staff. PREFERRED: advanced-level working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., manipulating and summarizing data, matching datasets, etc.) and PowerPoint; experience with HTML; experience in an academic environment; teaching experience; knowledge of English grammar; proofreading skills; and an interest in higher education and educational technology.
