Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
One of 12 schools and colleges located on the University of Maryland, College Park campus, the Robert H. Smith School of Business is a recognized leader in management research and education for the global economy. A comprehensive business school, Smith offers undergraduate, specialty masters, online graduate programs, full-time and part-time MBA, Executive MBA, Ph.D., and non-degree executive education programs and outreach services to the corporate community. The school is consistently ranked among the top business schools by leading business publications such as U.S. News & World Report, Financial Times, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and The Wall Street Journal.
Candidates are expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate classes in marketing, in courses such as marketing principles and strategy, digital marketing, marketing research, consumer behavior, and integrated marketing communications. Candidates are also expected to have a commitment to teaching and mentorship at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate for Senior Lecturer will have a terminal degree in a related field with relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Experience in senior corporate leadership roles will also be valued.
Skills:
All applicants are expected to demonstrate outstanding teaching skills to a variety of audiences and across various subject areas in marketing.
